Mar 18, 2025

On March 14, 2025, the North Central Mindanao College Gymnasium was filled with energy and commitment as we hosted the seminar-workshop on Child Protection in Emergencies (CPiE), themed “Empowering the Future: Child-Centered Response in Emergencies.”
This event was a pivotal opportunity to deepen understanding and enhance skills in protecting children during crises, an area that demands urgent attention and expertise.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our esteemed resource speaker, Miss Jhasanel Tamparong, RSW, MSSW, whose expertise and dedication illuminated the discussions and learning sessions. Her insightful presentations and practical demonstrations significantly enriched the experience, inspiring all participants to uphold the highest standards in child protection.

Our sincere thanks also go to the Social Work Department faculty for their steadfast guidance and support throughout the planning and execution of this seminar-workshop. We are equally grateful to the Program Head for the trust and permission to conduct this vital event.
