The Vice President for Academic Affairs is responsible for all undergraduate academic services; provides leadership in faculty development, policy formulation, program planning, and evaluation; keeps abreast of trends and changes in higher education; works for institutional vision, survival, stability, growth, and excellence; provides a connection between administration and faculty; serves as catalyst to create a climate conducive to scholarly inquiry in an atmosphere committed to academic excellence. It is directly responsible to the school President.
The Vice President for Academic Affairs in cooperation with and by the direction of the School Director shall exercise general supervision over the academic affairs of the institution, including the library, undergraduate programs, basic education program, student affairs office, and registrar’s office. The VPAA office also interacts and coordinates with the office of VP for Finance, VP for Administration, Industry and Community Extension Director, Human Resource, and other external offices.
